Cannabinoids – The Main Active Ingredients

Cannabinoids are considered to be the main therapeutically active constituents of the Cannabis plant. They are unique to the cannabis plant and can be found nowhere else in nature. Currently over 100 cannabinoids have been identified, with chemical structures that closely resemble each other. Additionally, many cannabinoid-like chemicals have been created artificially in pharmaceutical processes. All of the production steps - growing, drying, trimming, packaging, storage - may have an impact on the final chemical composition.
